A gentle technique that can have amazing results!
At this Time This Therapy is not yet Available: Coming this Winter 2021
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.
Every day your body endures stresses and strains often causing deep body tissues to tighten and form restriction barriers in the tissues that allow circulation around the brain and spinal cord.
With a light touch, the CST practitioner uses her hands to evaluate and treat the craniosacral system with gentle pressure to reduce restrictions and enable proper motion and rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid pulsing around the brain and spinal cord.
By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord, this can alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain to neurological impairment. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease.
Therapy Contact for purposes of assessment and treatment will be made to the following areas on your body:
~The entire skull including: back, front, sides and Jaw and throat.
~The Spine from the top vertebrae to the tail bone (this will mean the therapy will be including the buttocks in order to release the “tail bone” (sacrum and coccyx) and any of the attaching muscles ( piriformis, and gluteus muscles, and any other muscles involving the Spine),
~It will also include the front of the lower rib cage (Respiratory diaphragm),
~The bones of the pelvis and the connective tissues (Pelvic Diaphragm)
~The uppermost ribs and sternum (an important section of the circulation system lies below these bones, these structures allow necessary fluid drainage out of the skull).
